Chiropractic Care For A Healthy Family
To me it seems so odd that millions of dollars are spent on the development of new drugs and antibiotics to kill off the “bad guys”, but no one seems interested in asking the vital question, “what is it that renders us susceptible or resistant to infection?” Why does Laura frequently succumb to ear infections, chest or sinus infections while his twin brother never gets sick? Why does Jordan get repeated vaginal and respiratory infections, while her sister Amy, who stays out late and eats poorly, remains untouched by illness? Why do some children have multiple courses of drugs and antibiotics before the age of two, and my daughter has never needed any? How can I be around sick people almost every day and rarely get sick? Our medical system spends lots of money treating “sickness” and trying to kill these “bad guys” without ever studying these people above. Our medical system studies disease treatment and not health promotion. It is time for all of us to stop treating sickness but preventing sickness in the first place. Can chiropractic care help? I could go on and on about the importance of having your child checked by a chiropractor but I think I have written enough to give you a sense of the importance of the subject. After many years in this profession (and after seeing alert, healthy, vibrant, and drug-free chiropractic kids) I am more likely to be saying “Why wouldn’t you get your child checked by a chiropractor? rather than Why would you?”
